Highlights
This 1930s Art Deco bungalow was reimagined for modern living. The project preserved the original character at the front while adding a bold, contemporary extension at the rear. The new layout is light-filled, spacious, and functional designed to meet the needs of a growing family. The transformation not only elevated daily living but also significantly increased the property’s value.
Constraints & Challenges
Major structural upgrades were essential. The existing stumps were replaced, and asbestos was safely removed in accordance with health standards. Respecting the heritage elements while introducing a clean, modern extension required a careful balance of old and new both in form and finish.
Room by Room Before & After
